Our services
We work with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing or have experienced difficult life circumstances, providing:
- Individual, therapeutic and group-based support
- Linkages to other services including disability, mental health, family violence support, adult health, child health, housing, Centrelink and the Department of Education and Training
How does Family Services work?
When you're referred to our Family Services team, a dedicated caseworker will meet with you regularly — in your home, at our Heidelberg or Thomastown centres, or at another agreed location.
Together, you'll identify your family's needs and set clear goals that are reviewed regularly to keep things on track. Where needed, we'll coordinate with other services you're already connected to.
We also run groups throughout the year for children and parents/caregivers.
Please note: Kids First Family Services does not provide supervised contact or Children's Contact Services.
