Community Outreach

Every Thursday and Friday

Throughout the day on Thursdays and Fridays, the Kids First Australia (KFA) team will be out in the Karawara community conducting outreach. Our youth workers will engage with young people where they naturally gather, building positive relationships, providing information and support, and connecting them with local services and opportunities. This outreach approach helps ensure young people who may not access traditional youth programs are supported, included, and encouraged to participate in positive community activities.

Friday Drop-In Hub

George Burnett Leisure Centre

The Friday Drop-In Hub offers a relaxed environment where young people can spend time with friends, meet new people, and participate in a range of free recreational, cultural, and skill-building activities. Whether you're interested in sports, creative arts, games, workshops, or simply looking for a safe place to hang out after school, there's something for everyone.

Join us every Friday from 28 August 2026 at the George Burnett Leisure Centre, or say hello to the KFA team when you see them out in the community on Thursdays and Fridays!
