Fundraising in 2025

With a 130-year history of standing alongside children, young people, and families, Kids First Australia delivers innovative, evidence-based programs that create lasting change.

Music has the power to reach children in ways words sometimes can’t. That’s why this year’s Lunchtime Rumours Feast is focused on raising funds to bring a qualified music therapist into our kindergartens and child and family centres - creating safe, joyful experiences where children can express themselves and build confidence.

For children who have experienced trauma, music therapy is more than just a creative outlet - it’s a proven way to support emotional regulation, strengthen social skills, and foster a sense of safety and connection. With your help, we can offer this gentle, evidence-based support to children who need it most, helping them build brighter childhoods.
