Welcome to Devon Meadows Primary School Kindergarten
At Kids First, the early years are about building confidence, curiosity and important social skills that help children thrive.
Our kindergarten is a warm and welcoming place where children feel safe, supported and ready to explore. Through play-based learning, they build confidence, develop social skills, make friends and discover new interests — all while laying the foundations they need for a positive start to school.
Children are eligible to start kindergarten if they turn 3 or 4 by 30 April in the year they begin.

ABOUT OUR CENTRE
How to Enrol
Enrolments for this service are managed through the City of Casey Council (for both 3-year-old and 4-year-old kinder), and there’s no cost to apply.
- Step 1 - Submit your application. Complete the Online Registration Form on the City of Casey website and list Devon Meadows Primary School Kindergarten as your preferred service.
- Step 2 - Welcome email. Once we receive your application, you’ll get a welcome email from us with the next steps and a link to any additional forms we may need.
- Step 3 - Enrolment assessment. Our team carefully reviews applications based on priority and availability. If we need more information, we’ll be in touch
- Step 4 - Confirmation of enrolment. Once your child’s place is confirmed, you’ll receive a confirmation email - including details about their allocated group and program start date.

Meet Our Lead Teacher, Esin
At Kids First, our passionate lead teachers are at the heart of every kindergarten program. They create warm, inclusive environments where children feel safe, supported and inspired to explore, learn and grow.
Esin brings creativity, kindness and a playful spirit to her teaching. She loves helping children discover their strengths and explore the world through curiosity and joy.
Welcome to Kinder Pack
We know that starting kindergarten looks different for every child and family. To support a positive, gentle start, our kindergarten has created a Welcome to Kinder Pack for enrolled families.
The pack shares information about daily routines, settling-in, and how educators work alongside families to build trusting relationships and support children’s learning, wellbeing, and sense of belonging from day one.
