Friday, 16th August saw esteemed attendees gather at the Regent Theatre’s sumptuous Plaza Ballroom for 3AW’s 17th Annual Lunchtime Rumours Feast, supporting Kids First Australia.

A day of delectable food, hand-picked wines, lively entertainment and prizes a-plenty was had by all, with all funds raised supporting Kids First Australia.

The Plaza Ballroom inside the Regent Theatre, kindly offered for this event by the Marriner Group.

Highlights of this sellout event included Heidi Murphy's engaging MC stylings, commentary and discussion from 3AW legends Ross Stevenson and Russel Howcroft, serenades from Australian legend Ella Hooper, stories and laugher thanks to the inimitable Glenn Robbins, and the hilarious action-packed antics of Jellis Craig's auctioneer crew.

Towards the end of the event, our president Sandy Forbes had the honour of announcing to the crowd, that thanks to their generosity, we raised over $161,000. These funds will support our Sexual Abuse Counselling and Prevention Program (SACPP), providing vital therapeutic support to children and young people affected by sexual abuse or harmful sexual behaviour.
