Families and Children

Child Protection

You should make a report to Child Protection if you have formed a reasonable belief that a child has suffered or is likely to suffer significant harm as a result of abuse or neglect and their parent has not or is unlikely to protect them from harm of that type.

Parentline

Parentline is a statewide telephone counselling and support service for all Victorian parents and carers of children from 0-18 years.
Experienced social workers, psychologists and family therapists can give you counselling and information around a wide range of parenting issues.

Kids Help Line

Kids Helpline is a service for young people to call anytime, for any reason.

Women's Crisis Line

DVConnect’s Womensline is a free helpline for women and their children in Queensland who are experiencing domestic and family violence.

Kids First is delighted to be partnering with the City of Casey and managing this kindergarten.

Our unique early years model will benefit all young learners and we are so excited to be part of the Clyde North community.

This centre will be adjacent to the Orana Community Centre and provide a focal point for children and families and community interaction.

Meet Our Lead Teacher, Geeth

At Kids First, our passionate lead teachers are at the heart of every kindergarten program. They create warm, inclusive environments where children feel safe, supported and inspired to explore, learn and grow.

Geeth brings a calm, supportive presence and a genuine passion for early childhood development. He builds strong, respectful relationships and creates a space where children feel confident, curious, and excited to learn.

Eligibility

For four-year-olds, your child must turn 4 by April 30 in the year of attendance. If your child was born between January and April you can choose which year to enrol your child, including the year the child is eligible or the year after.

For three-year-olds, children must turn 3 by 30 April in the year they commence, however a parent will be required to stay with the child until they turn three years old.
