ABOUT OUR CENTRE
Southern Cross Kindergarten is open for 2025 for 3 and 4-year old kindergarten.
This 2-room centre will provide 66 kindergarten places and opens into an outdoor learning and play space.
Kids First is delighted to be partnering with Whittlesea City Council and managing this kindergarten on the site adjacent to Lalor Primary School.
Our unique early years model will benefit all young learners and we are thrilled to be part of the Lalor community.
ABOUT OUR CENTRE
Eligibility
For four-year-olds, your child must turn 4 by April 30 in the year of attendance. If your child was born between January and April you can choose which year to enrol your child, including the year the child is eligible or the year after.
For three-year-olds, children must turn 3 by 30 April in the year they commence, however a parent will be required to stay with the child until they turn three years old.
Kindergarten enrolments for Wallan East are processed by the Mitchell Shire Children’s Services Team via the Mitchell Shire website, available at Mitchell Shire Library and Customer Services Centres, or by contacting the Children’s Services team on (03) 5734 6200
