Responding to Commissioner for Children & Young People WA Paper

We exist to improve the life trajectories of children and young people across Australia.
The Commissioner for Children and Young People Western Australia is an independent person working closely with children and young people, their families, community and government to make Western Australia a better place for children and young people.
The Commissioner released four discussion papers earlier this year exploring Youth Justice, Health and Mental Health, Education, and Child Protection. There were also versions of each paper specifically written for young people; you can view them via the same link above.
This month, we submitted our response to the Youth Justice, Education and Child Protection discussion papers to the Office of the Commissioner, with the hope that our recommendations will help inform the Commissioner's advocacy, which in turn informs policy.
