On Tuesday, 10th October 2023 and to a global online audience, The Evidence and Implementation Summit (EIS) conference began, showcasing the latest advances in evidence synthesis and translation, evaluation and implementation science.

Initially established in 2012 as the Biennial Australian Implementation Conference, the summit has grown to become a leading global event in the evidence and implementation sector, with worldwide appeal.

On opening day Joanne O'Connell, our Early Years Practice Lead and Claire Jennings, Senior Project Officer at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) Centre for Community Child Health shared their progress in evaluating Kids First's Early Years Education Program - Kindergarten Model . Their presentation featured within the Real World Implementation in Early Childhood stream.

Pairing an extensive evidence-base of trauma-informed and relational pedagogy with best practice Early years learning is shaping a new approach for Australia's early years landscape.
