Our services

Working closely with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing or have experienced challenging life circumstances.

Individual, therapeutic and group-based support.

Providing linkages into other services such as disability and mental health services, family violence support, adult health services, child health services and advocacy which may include housing, Centrelink and the Department of Education and Training.

How does Family Services work?

A case worker is allocated to you and your family and will meet with you regularly.

Together you’ll work through the needs of your family and develop clear goals which are regularly reviewed so that things stay on track.

Appointments can be in your own home or at Kids First’s Heidelberg or Thomastown centres, or another agreed venue.

We will coordinate a care team response with any other services you are using.

Our team also runs a variety of groups throughout the year for children and parents/caregivers.
