Kids First's response to Covid-19 - same services, delivered differently

March 16, 2020

Update - 3 June, 2020

Our thoughts are with everyone who is impacted by the Covid-19 crisis.

Kids First has been at the heart of community care for more than 120 years and rest assured, we are continuing to provide our services throughout this crisis.

We have made changes to the way we deliver these services - but we want you to know we are here for the community and the children and families we work with.

How are we operating?

Where we can, we have shifted to phone and video means to engage with our clients. And our staff are collaborating and connecting with each other remotely.

Our kindergartens at Korin Korin (Wollert) and in Seymour are open and operating in line with all Department of Education decisions. From Friday 5 June, our Rosanna Op Shop will reopen for trade and we look forward to welcoming the community back - with all safety measures in place to ensure their welfare and that of our staff.

How can I access Kids First?

Contacting us has not changed, and our intake service is open for business and ready for referrals. Call 9450 0900 or email [email protected]

For the time being, our Child and Family Centres in Thomastown and Heidelberg will be closed.

Like everyone we are adapting to this rapidly changing situation. Our commitment to seeing kids thrive and families strong and safe, is unwavering.
