An OPEN Forum on better service

November 28, 2018

This morning at the Melbourne Multicultural Hub, Kids First Director of Client Services, Emily McDonald, joined Sue White (CEO, Queen Elizabeth Centre) to present their experiences on how service design, implementation and data optimisation have improved outcomes at their respective organisations.

Speaking at the (sector peak body) Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare's OPEN Forum, Emily explained that Kids First has this year transformed it's service model to that of 'Progressive Universalism', where greater emphasis is placed on early intervention and prevention initiatives.

Emily also shared how we imbed evaluation into evidence-based programs, among other insights related to Kids First's outcomes and practice frameworks designed to optimise support for children and families facing complex and difficult challenges.
